This is in
walking distance to the Metro Station called “Déli” Railway
Station. The Metro line No 2. (red line) takes you to the Pest side. Medieval
Castle Hill is also close by. Additional information obtained from the hotel is

hotel which gave also a considerable discount is located on the Pest side of
Budapest, called “City Hotel Pilvax” (three * hotel). It is located
downtown in the pedestrian street (Budapest, H-1052, V.th Ddistrict, “Pilvax Köz 1-3”)

to Ferihegy Airport:
After
arrival, contact the corner of “Airport Minibus”
This
convenient “Airport Minibus” service
takes you to your hotel.
One way
ticket/person costs 2100 Ft. (Hungarian Forint is accepted only)
Return
ticket costs 3600 Ft. (1 Euro is approx. 265 Ft)
There is
the firm “Taxi 2000”, which is the only one with fixed prices!!!!!!
From
Ferihegy Airport you can call the phone number: 2-000-000, and in five minutes
it is there. The price to Pest side is 3000 Ft, to Buda side is 3500 Ft.
Arrival
by train:
We have
three main railway stations in Budapest, called Deli Déli
Railway Station, Keleti Railway Station, and Nyugati Railway Station. All
are connected to the Metro System.
From Deli Déli Railway
Station starts the Metro line No2 (red line).
From
Nyugati Railway Station one can reach the Metro line No3 (blue line)
From Keleti
Railway Station one can reach the Metro line No2 (red line).
We invite
all the participants and accompanying persons for a banquet on the evening on
19th March, at 19.00oo to Pilvax
Caféee
and Restaurant. (Budapest, V.th
District, 1052, Pilvax köz 1-3). This is a historical place,
dating back to the 19th century. You will get more information about
it when you are here in Budapest.
You will be partly our guest. A symbolic amount small of contribution (15 Euro/person)
we ask from each participant. Everybody is
kindly asked who intend to participate in this nice evening, to send a message

(fodor@szfki.hu). We have to let know the
restaurant in advance how many participants are awaited.
During the
coffee break on our meeting you can pay this sum.

The exact place is on the 7th
floor of the so called north building of ELTE TTK, in the Meeting Room of the Faculty Council (7.18 – 7.21, main entrance: 7.21).
